WOW! A Hungarian woman made folktale-style Game of Thrones cartoon figures – Photos
This is how a Hungarian animation designer says goodbye to one of her favourite series.
Dorottya Szert-Szabó said that she raises two sons and though she does not have too much free time she uses her dawns to create cartoon figures with which she can make people happy.
Therefore, she transformed characters of the famous Game of Thrones series to Hungarian folktale cartoon figures.Â
“I started a series named brides around the world based on folk costumes and I also transformed the characters of the Vikings series into Hungarian folktale cartoon figures.” – Ms Szert-Szabó said to kreativ.hu. She added that since she is a huge fan of the Game of Thrones series she made a new collection with which she can end an epoch in her life. She said that she regularly goes to traditional Hungarian dance houses and she is a committed supporter of the traditional Hungarian animation so it was not difficult to connect the characters of the GOT with the Hungarian folktales.
Â
“There are a lot of monarchs, queens and smallest princes in the GOT series while the devil, money and miracles are also present and nothing else is needed for a traditional tale. And, of course, the enemy living beyond the Glass Mountain has to be defeated with the help of the almost-seven-headed dragon” – she added.
According to her, she will make more figures and even a surprise video later.
As we reported before, a Hungarian company named CraftUnique’s 3D Craftbot printers made the life-sized dragon and throne models at the Hungarian premiere of Game of Thrones. In addition to this, CraftUnique’s 3D Craftbot printers were also used in the film Blade Runner 2049 to create realistic-looking human beings.
